At the start of 2023 the Harris family started the Charash Foundation to support existing non-profit organizations primarily focused in the areas of health, education and conservation. Our objective is to select one or more organizations per year and promote events to raise awareness and capital for those organizations.

Since 2023, we have worked with Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York to contribute to IBD research. We are proud to say that fund has received in excess of $139,000 to date; Johns Hopkins Packard Center to create the "Carol Moeller ALS Research Endowment", that fund has received in excess of $110,000. In 2025 Working with Johns Hopkins Department of Neurology we raised apprximately $48,000 toward the establishment of the Charash Foundation Dementia Research Fund. Those funds will be directed to support research into the link between (and ultimately treatments related to) Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases.
On June 15, 2026 we held our 4th annual invitational golf fundraiser to support the establishment of the Charash Foundation Diabetes Endowment Fund. To date we have received contributions and pledges in excess of $56,000.
